Top 25 Accounts All Screenwriters Should Follow On Twitter

    If you’re a screenwriter or interested in learning and following the filmmaking business, there are many resources and bits of wisdom to find on Twitter.  Below are the top 25 people screenwriters should follow, in no particular order:

    1. ScreenwritingU.com –  @ScreenwritingU.com – Daily advice for professional screenwriters
    2. The Script Lab – @thescriptlab – Great advice, news and quotes about screenwriting.
    3. John August – @johnaugust – One of the leading bloggers on screenwriting, he offers a wealth of knowledge with great opinions and news.
    4. The Tracking Board –  @MyTrackingBoard – Get notice of the latest spec scripts, script sales, job postings and news
    5. Go Into The Story – @gointothestory – Scott Meyers is a passionate and insightful writer on screenwriting, now in collaboration with The Black List.
    6. Mark Sanderson  – @scriptcat – A knowledgeable screenwriting guru with great website content, webinars and frequent tweets.
    7. Carson Reeves – @Scriptshadow – Find script reviews, thoughts, news and notes from the author of the book “Scriptshadow Secrets”
    8. Adelaide Screenwriter – @AdelScreenWri – A non-stop cornucopia of great quotes on screenwriting, from the Down Under.
    9. Mystery Executive – @mysteryexec – Great snarky tweets from a mysterious working entertainment executive.

    11. Benedek Myers – @ScreenwritingMC – Another good source of screenwriting industry news
    12. On The Page – @onthepage – Get links to videos and podcasts that are teaching aids as part of the writing program “On the Page,” directed by Pilar Alessandra
    13. Jeanne Bowerman– @jeannevb - Editor of Script Magazine (@scriptmag) and co-founder of the popular #scriptchat hashtag, Jeanne is a must-follow.
    14. Brian Koppelman –  @briankoppelman –  He of the screenwriting Vine videos. Screenwriter, director, producer: Solitary Man, Rounders, Ocean’s Thirteen.
    15. The Black Board –  @TheBlackBoard – News and updates from the official writing community of the Black List & Go Into The Story
    16. Robert Dillon – @rdlln – Good screenwriting advice and screenplay analyst, he’s known for his blog “Feedback Friday”
    1. BlueCat Screenplay –  @BlueCatPictures – Every entry for the competition receives analysis. The account posts tweets with notes, advice, and reminders of important contest dates
    2. Bitter Script Reader –  @BittrScrptReadr –  Hilarious, bitter bits from a script reader who also runs a blog
    3. Danny Manus –  @DannyManus –  Screenwriting consultant and founder of No BullScript, Danny also writes for Script Magazine.
    4. Anonymous Executive – @anonymousexc – Get inside an executive’s head with these honest, hard bits of truth from a person who claims to be a Hollywood executive.
